Led by Dr. Steven Repas, President of Medicine in Mission, first-year medical students from the Boonshoft School of Medicine traveled to the City of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Teaching tactical medicine to government agencies and providing physical exams to churches and various communities in the Santo Domingo area was the mission.
This is the third straight year that Dr. Repas has led teams of medical students to the Dominican Republic. Plans for the the future include medical mission trips to other Caribbean countries as well as South America.
