Medicine in Mission (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Effective date: August 16, 2026.

Information we collect

Contact and application forms. When you contact us or apply for a mission trip, we collect the information you provide: name, email, phone, school or institution, and any documents you upload (such as a CV or, for accepted team members, health and travel documents). We use this information only to respond to you and to organize trips.

Donations. Gifts are currently arranged directly with us by email. If we adopt an online donation platform, we will update this policy with the platform’s name and the information it collects.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How we use information

We use the information above to respond to inquiries, review applications, organize mission trips, process and acknowledge donations, and improve this website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate (form processing, donation processing, email, website analytics), and only as needed for those purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and security

We keep application and donation records as long as needed for trip administration, receipting, and legal requirements, then delete them. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no online transmission is completely secure.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing steven.j.repas@gmail.com.

Third-party links

This site links to outside services (Google Classroom, social media, our donation platform). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
